Legislative Support of Activities of Social Protection of Orphans

In conjunction with the set of policies at the state level, the issues of children are now of a great interest not only among family policy experts, but also in wide audience. Analysis of International and Russian legislation in concerning child welfare allowed the author to define general principles and tendencies of social protection of orphans in Russia. All the governments concerning guardianship and custody are reported in this article. The regionalization typical of contemporary social policy is considered an example of Kirov region.
