The hope for «an invisible hand of the market», creation denial and refusal to accept the realization of the potential of the people as a main task of economic policy led Russia to economic and demographic crisis. Since the beginning of neoliberal reforms in Russia, the social sphere shows a steady downward trend. To fully realize the potential of Russia, it is necessary to understand that social and economic strategy of our country has to be based on public-private partnership, creating the conditions for the development of production of non-oil goods and the services providing a progress of human qualities. The article examines the social situation in the organizations of Neftegazstroyprofsoyuz of the Russian Federation, during the global economic crisis.
