Analysis of Online presence of the Volga Federal District Regions

The article aims to prove the urgency of territorial information resources management problems. The author analyzes the presence the online presence of Volga Federal District using content analysis. Analysis shows that different regions within Volga Federal District show considerable differences in both the quantity and quality of online resources. The article also describes informational needs of target audiences, which consider the region as a place of residence, permanent or temporary, or business, and evaluates the degree of satisfaction of these needs.
