Evgeny V. Shikin

Ph.D., Chair of Mathematical Methods and Information Technology in Management, School of Public Administration, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics in 1964. Dr. Shikhin received his Ph.D. in 1970, thesis topic "On the regular realization in large of two-dimensional С²-metrics with С¹-negative curvature", and a full doctorate in 1978, thesis topic – "Isometric imbeddings into Е³ non-compact domains of non-positive curvature".

Dr. Shikhin is a member of "Financial Management Association International", and serves on the board of editors of "Fundamental and Applied Mathematics".

Dr. Shikin’s main scientific achievements include the construction of regular isometric embeddings of two-dimensional Riemannian manifolds of non-positive curvature into three-dimensional Euclidian space: study of geometric properties of solutions of the hyperbolic type Monge-Ampere equations; developing geometric and graphical approaches to dynamic search problems of objects; investigation of management problems on various stages of crisis.
