Scientific activities:
Abylgaziev Igor is the Chairman of the International Editorial Council of Scientific Journal �Moscow University Globalistics and Geopolitics Bulletin�. He is Head of the Department of Geopolitics and diplomacy. Abylgaziev Igor made a great contribution to the establishment of the Faculty of Global Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University, to the organization of its work. He promote the expansion of international contacts and cooperation with the leading research and educational center specializing in the field of Global Studies (Russian-Chinese Strategic Research Institute of Tsinghua University). He is member of International Association for Global Studies. He is co-author and co-editor of a number of key monographs and manuals on global studies. Abylgaziev Igor is ��o-chairman of the organizing committee of several leading international forums and congresses held with the participation of the Faculty of Global Studies and Member of the Expert Council the Higher Attestation Commission and the Russian Foundation for Humanities.
Igor Abylgaziev was born on February 12, 1956 in Frunze.
Education:
He graduated with honors from the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University in 1978, the University “Nanyang” (Singapore) in 1979, internal postgraduate study of the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University in 1983, the Institute of International Education and Training (Japan) in 2000, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces in 2003.
