Admission Regulations

Documents to be attached to the application:

The documents on academic background should be translated into Russian and attested by the Russian Embassy in the country where the documents were issued, or by the Embassy of your country in Russia, or by a notary in Russia.

The juridical foundation of the training at the University is a contract.
International students study according to the contract that states speciality, duration of studies and tuition fee. It should be signed by the student and the University officials. For the contract to be signed you should send or bring the documents listed above to the International Office at the Faculty. >>(En_cont_last1.doc)

Visa support.

To get an official invitation for coming to Russia please send the documents listed below to the International Office of the Faculty not later than two months before classes start:

Once the documents are received and considered, the Faculty will send you an official invitation. Please find out on the procedure of getting visas in the Russian Embassy in your country. Please inform the International Office of the date and place of your entering Russia.

If your have to study Russian Language courses before the classes please contact Center for International Education (see below).

Russian Language

All classes are held in Russian. To be admitted to the regular course at the Faculty as well as at the University in general you need to pass the test of proficiency in Russian language or take the one-year preparatory course at the University Center for International Education at the University or Preparatory course at a state university in Russia.

Ph.D. program can begin implemented in Russian or in English. Studies for the Bachelor, Specialist with Diploma and Master degree must be in Russian. Intensive Russian language courses are also offered to prepare the students for enrollment at the University.

Pre-University Programs at the Center:

Russian Language for Academic Purposes
Foundation Courses in Humanities and Science

The duration of these courses is one or one and a half academic years.
The Pre-University program initially provides an intensive General Russian language course and then continues on accompanied by a mixture of Russian for Academic Purposes and other subjects related to students' future fields of study.

Russian Language Summer Program

The summer courses are offered in July and August, giving participants the option to study from 4 to 8 weeks. The goal of this program is to provide participants an opportunity to acquire or improve their level of Russian Language skills in a short period of time.
