0. Origin of resistivity anisotropy in rocks.

Anisotropy in rock's resistivity resulted from orientation of elongated rock grains (fig.1) or from fine layering with different resistivity values. Anisotropy can result from rock's fracturing (fig.2), pressure, metamorthism and ore grains, disseminated in rock. We shall consider here anisotropy with vertical or inclined layering orientation.
