Awarding to the students of the Moscow University who showed a high level of training and excellent results in international competitions

January 25th, 2016 at the ceremonial meeting, dedicated to the 261^th anniversary of the Moscow University, Rector of Moscow State University, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Viktor Antonovich Sadovnichy awarded the students of the Moscow University who showed a high level of training and excellent results in international competitions.

Among the award recipients there was MSU team in chemistry, which took the lead at the VIII International Student Chemistry Olympiad held in the city of Hamadan, Islamic Republic of Iran (second-year students of the Faculty of Chemistry Artem Boychuk and Ilya Popov, a third-year student of the Faculty of Chemistry Andrey Utkin, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Chemistry Maxim Kozlov, the head of the team – a senior fellow at the Faculty of Chemistry Alexander Belov); MSU team in mathematics, which took second place at the XVI International Student Mathematical Olympiad held in the city of Hamadan, Islamic Republic of Iran (first-year students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Mikhail Yagudin and Sergei Dzhunusov, third-year students Maria Ryabtseva and Mikhail Zozulenko, afourth-year student Roman Pocherevin, the head of the team ? a senior research fellow of the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics Nikolai Andreevich Tolmachev); a second-year student of the department of acoustics of the Faculty of Physics Mikhail Bakin who won the first place in the competition in accordance with WorldSkills љstandards in the competence “Reverse Engineering” (the supervisor ? a senior researcher at the Faculty of Physics, an Associate Professor of specialized training and research center Kolmogorov boarding school Sergey Nikolaevich Sergeev).
