“Lomonosov” Olympiad in journalism for pupils

10March 4, 2016 the editorial office “Radio Russia” hosted the final round of “Lomonosov” Olympiad in journalism. Seven pupils of 9-11 forms fought for the victory in this contest. Pupils were answering the questions of the presenter and the jury live. The tasks consisted of two thematic blocks: the motivation of profession choice and the examination of pupils? erudition. The pupils who were admitted to the radio-round, had become the authors of the best written work in the first round. The winners of the second round were singled out by the jury, formed of Vice-rector of Moscow State University Professor T.V.љKortava, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University Professor E.L.љVartanova, Chairman of the Guild of ethnic journalism, the advisor of public relations director of SRC “Radio Russia” M.A.љLyange, tutors of the Faculty of Journalism, the journalists of “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.

The appraisal of the jury summed with those points that the pupils got in the written round. The leaders of the Olympiad have become the pupil of the 9th form Arina Kryuchkova from Moscow and two graduates Elena Terentyeva from Chuvashia and Anastasia Khomenko from Moscow. The benefits for admission to universities of the winners and awardees of the Olympiad will be announced in early June.
