XXXVI Beijing competition of scientific works of high school pupils

БезымянныйFrom 25 to 31 March 2016 at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences the XXXVI Beijing competition of scientific works of high school pupils was held (Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition) – the largest and most prestigious competition for young researchers in China. The initiators invite one delegation from a foreign country with high scientific and technical potential to participate in the contest.

Russia participates in the contest for the second time, and each time the team was formed by Moscow University, and its preparation for the contest was in the laboratories of the School of Scientific Creativity, located in Lomonosov academic building of Moscow State University.

This year, the team consisted of: Andrew Rasputny ? the work is performed in the SESC of Moscow State University, Dmitry Boldin – the work is performed in the scientific and educational summer camp of MSU “LANAT,” Roman Krutovsky ? the winner of the contest “Scientists of the Future” of Moscow State University. The team was headed by an associate professor of SESC of MSU S.N.љSergeyev and a student Ivan Bayazitov – a last-year graduate of SESC of MSU, which became the winner in the engineering sciences in 2015.

As in 2015, the Russian pupils have shown excellent results, taking first place in mathematics (Roman Krutovsky) and second place in the engineering sciences (Dmitriy Boldin). In physics the works of foreign participants were not valued, so Andrew Rasputny performed beyond the competition, but his stand was under constant attention of the visitors.
