Dear Shao-Feng,

yes, the transverse mass is not a built-in variable in CompHEP (you
can look at them by pressing F1 if you in the edit mode of the CompHEP
cut table). So, you have to define it in userFun.c in your _working
directory_, not in your CompHEP installation area.

There is a couple of subtleties concerning the definition.  You have
to call the new variable with the predefined first letter - U, for
example, Umt or Utrm, etc. The name is used in the CompHEP cut table,
but in your code in file userFun.c the first letter is omitted. It
means in the file you have variables "mt" and "trm". As soon as you
write the code in userFun.c, execute "make" in the directory results
in order re-link n_comphep.exe
