ABSTRACT. Chromogenic reagents based on covalent and non-covalent im- mobilization of benzidine on cellulose and silica gels have been deve- loped and investigated. New test tools (paper strips, indicator tubes, and indicator powders) and test methods have been elaborated for the determination of chlorine in the concentration range of 0,05-120 mg/L.
