INSTRUCTIONS
Abstract submission: Abstracts for oral presentations or posters should be submitted via Email (FESTEM2010@gmail.com) as MS Word files. Abstracts must be written in English. The scientific part should clearly, but briefly describe the background, applied techniques and important results. Page setup: A4 portrait with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Font: Times New Roman 12 pt, single spaced. Title: centered, in bold uppercase letters. Authors' names and affiliations: centered. Affiliation should include email address. Abstract body: justified, totally no more than 2000 characters with spaces, no tables, pictures or references are acceptable. Abstracts will be published in a special issue of the journal "Mikroelementi v meditsine" ("Trace Elements in Medicine", Moscow). Authors are invited to submit fulltext manuscripts to a special issue of the official organ of FESTEM, Journal of Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology (Elsevier) on the base of regular review process of the journal (http://shop.elsevier.de/jtemb). Participants are also invited to submit manuscripts to the journal "Mikroelementi v meditsine" ("Trace Elements in Medicine", Moscow) on the base of regular review process (www.microelements.ru/journal). Poster layout: Poster size must not exceed 90 cm width and 120 cm height, including title, name(s) of author(s) and affiliation.

Venue The 4th International Symposium on Trace Elements and Minerals in Medicine and * Biology will take place in the Hotel "Okhtinskaya" (4, Bolsheokhtinsky prospect, 195027 St.Petersburg, Russia). The Hotel "Okhtinskaya" is located in one of the most beautiful places of Saint Petersburg on the bank of the Neva River opposite Smolny Cathedral. A 10 minutes drive by the hotel's shuttle bus gets you to the Nevsky Prospect the heart of St. Petersburg. You will enjoy the marvelous view opening from the hotel windows.
