Who want to register for a Ms or Phd degree in America in fall 2005?

Hi, I'm a foreign student in the department of Economics of MSU. I'm a Chinese girl 
I'm preparing to travel to America for a Phd or a Ms degree in Fall 2005.
I have taken Toefl and GRE in Moscow in the last two years.
I just wanna know are there any people who have the same plan. We can talk about it and share our experience 
I asked many russian friends about GRE, but pitty few of them has heard about it. In China, it is really a fashion in campus.

Да просто. Ищешь, где, связываешься с ними, приходишь на тестирование, все, насколько я могу судить...
Один мой сокурсник недавно прошел, параллельно с поступлением в аспирантуру мехмата.

Стандартный экзамен в американскую аспирантуру. Состоит из 2х частей, теста по английскому (говорят сложнее toefl) и теста по профилирующему предмету. Например тест по физике состоит из 100 вопросов. На него дается 190 минут, задачи есть сложные, но все в рамках нашей университетской программы.

I plan to study there in Sep. 2005
There are two types GRE exam : GRE general and GRE subject
I took the GRE General: Verbal and Quant. and Wrting section
The GRE sub contains six discplines : Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Literature In English, Math, Physics, Psychology.
например ты студент физфака тогда тебе нужно сдать GRE subject of Physics
GRE is much more difficult than TOEFL in my view.
I think all the students from the department of physics, chemistry and Mathematics should try to travel to American for a doctoral degree as these disciplines have very strong finantial fond and you can feel free about the cost of the study and life in American.
Sorry I don't have a keyboard of Russian so I type in English. I also speak Russian not bad as I'm already four years in Moscow.

I registered the gre general online
The website is www.gre. org
You must have a credit card in order to register online (only VISa, Matercard and American Express are available. VISA electron is not accepted)
If you don't have credit card now, you can also register by mail.
You should travel to
Leninskiye Prospect dom. 2 to get a bulletin which contains a registration form.
The inspectors there are very kind, you can speak in English and in Russian.
You can also call the test center. The phone number is (095) 2304550

Я слышал, что для иностранных студентов результаты теста по англ не учитываются, т.е. смотрят только тоефел. Это правда? Просто я видел книжку для GRE теста по англ, там нереальный уровень языка требуется.

Different universities have different requires about registration fee.
For example: Applicants of UC Berkley don't have to pay any registration fee, while University of Houston requires a 150$ registration fees.
But these situations are very occational.
Usually registration fee is about 30 - 60 $.
TOEFL costs 130$ , GRE 140$
