Photoconductivity and
sensory properties of nanocomposites based on hybrid semiconductor
matrices sensitized quantum dots and organometallic compounds
The project :
- The technique of synthesis of the nanocrystalline semiconductor
colloids of oxides and their clusters catalytic chemical modification
of platinum group metals , gold and oxide catalysts;
- Developed a technique of organic receptors on the surface of
nanocrystalline oxide semiconductor ;
- Developed methods for the synthesis of sensitizers visible spectrum -
colloidal CdSe quantum dots of a given size ;
- Models made of thick film semiconductor gas sensors using the
materials received.
Draft allowed to develop methods of producing unique nanocrystalline
composites based on semiconducting oxides that include the one hand ,
catalytic clusters providing selective sensitivity to the molecules of
oxidizing gases (NO2) and reducing agent (NH3, H2S, CO, volatile
organic compounds , including alcohols, aldehydes, ketones), and,
on the other hand, CdSe quantum dots of controlled size, and the
organic ligands providing sensitivity of the material to radiation of
the visible spectral range,
