USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE SCHOOL BIOLOGY Kotov D. A., Kotova S. A. (Russia, Krasnoyarsk) Problems and features of application of information technologies in teaching of school biology are discussed Multimedia presentations as most accessible variant of information technologies for teachers of biology is offered to use in decision of existing problems in view of features of teaching of biology. They are ample opportunities for development of interactive illustrative materials; are enough simple for development and application and flexible and universal. Principles of system pedagogics are the optimum approach for the organization of information filling of multimedia presentations. On their basis the material of a lesson is broken into the small logically finished designs or models with exact number of elements and relationships. The information submitted thus is the basis of the lesson which assimilates in consciousness of the pupil. The Web-site is developed for methodical and informational support of teachers of biology in Krasnoyarsk. The test version of this site is accessible in Internet.
