The Conference is organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna), Puschino Scientific Center (Puschino, Russia Academy of Science), Keldysh Institute for Applied Mathematics (Moscow, Russia Academy of Science), JINR Applied Scientific Research Center (Dubna), Dubna State University, the Interregional Public Organization "Women in Science and Education" and Moscow Society of Naturalists. Official Languages: Russian, English Mathematics is a well-known language that unites contemporary science. Most mathematical concepts have applicability far beyond the context they have originated from. The main objective of the Conference is to provide a platform for constructive dialogue between professionals in various fields of knowledge from pure mathematical theory to application of mathematical models and information technology in scientific research and education. The Conference aims at consolidating activities of various scientific and educational bodies to provide sustainable development. Dear Colleagues, We invite you to participate in the 15th International Conference MATHEMATICS. COMPUTING. EDUCATION to be held in Dubna, Russia in 2008. Attending the Conference will enable you to take advantage of the following: · · · · friendly and interested audience for presenting the results of your studies; presentation of the most advanced achievements in basic and applied research in calculation methods, mathematical modeling and mathematical methods in natural and social sciences; contact with colleagues from many institutions and countries; fruitful discussions and planning of joint research initiatives; the unique atmosphere and hospitality of the Conference venue the science-town of Dubna, Moscow Region. Help us to organize the best Interdisciplinary Conference ever by registering online at www.mce.biophys.msu.ru Conference agenda includes plenary lectures and concurrent sessions and workshops on the following topics: · Mathematical Theories · Calculation Methods and Mathematical Modeling · Mathematical Models in Natural and Social Sciences · Natural and Social Science Education Conference venue Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) will host MCE-2008. JINR is an international institute situated in a small picturesque town of Dubna. Conference Workshop Workshop "Analysis of Complex Biological Systems: Models and Experiment" will be held as a part of Mathematical Models in Chemistry, Biology, Medicine session. This Workshop is a satellite event of "Mathematics. Computing. Education" Interdisciplinary Conference. Working language of the Workshop is English. With advance in experimental sciences it becomes obvious that new comprehensive approach is required for deep understanding of biological phenomena at different spatial and time scale. The need for integration between different branches of knowledge emerges such disciplines as bioinformatics and system biology. The Workshop is aimed at facilitating dialogue between experimental, computational, and theoretical aspects in life sciences and will address interdisciplinary practices across the natural sciences. In this year, the Workshop will focus on Medical Biophysics. Round-Table Discussion Round-table discussion focuses on interdisciplinary and frontier themes and will include invited presentation as well as volunteered speakers. R1.
