Summary. The communicative interpretation formation mechanics, when used during film dialogue translation, allow rather significant modifications of the correlation between speaker's position, listener's position and the situation. The paper hereby shows how an inappropriate communicative interpretation (one entirely separated from the character and episode meaning) may be caused by «peripheral» voice means, while the nominative level information remains basically correct. , . . , . , . , , . «» . , , , , , ; . . , , , . , , , . , . «» (2007) ( , , , , ) , , -- , . , , , ( « »), . . , , , -- , , , , , . , « » , -- , . , , , , , , , «» ( , , , .). . , . , , . , , . , , ( , ), . , , -- . , : , , -- , ( , -- , .). .

Summary. The study of Brodsky's translation of idioms in his self-translations does not only reveal his tendencies in rendering this language phenomenon, it also gives an insight into his general translation strategies. Along with other translation practices, it shows that Brodsky's English versions give a fair idea of his Russian writing technique. Even the deviations from the original reflect his original techniques and proclivities. The changes that he is forced to introduce are organic with his poetics. Brodsky challenges the English language when he resorts to experimentation with the new language (distortion of idioms, puns) which is in tune with his penchant for «word-plying». . . . , - , , , . . 1. . , , , . « » . , , . , , crushing bedbugs. , , / [1, . 3: 241]. ...the warriors apparently kicked the bucket / crushing bedbugs on the linen sprawl [2: 268]. 2. - . , . ... / . / . , [1, . 4: 88]. Summary. In history Russian has been a very important language in Estonia and there were times when translations made from Russian were more significant than they are today, but nevertheless even then nobody played almost any attention to the role of grammar in the process of translating. Although the truth is that we cannot analyse any translations without taking into account the grammar, not just the lexical side of the text. 2000 ., 30% 540 . , , -- -

Summary. Under actual conditions of falsifying Ilya Ehrenburg's work has begun a translation of his war papers into German. The translator has to deal with characteristics of Ehrenburg as a journalist as well as with realia of the time as constitutional elements of his texts. An adequate translation, being at the same time objectively part of a political campaign, must carefully avoid both linguistic mistakes and historical preciselessness resp. irritations to the current German recipient. . , , . 24 1942 «», , . , , . , . . , . 541

Summary. This paper discusses the issue of adequacy in poetry translation. It mainly focuses on the comparative study of the sound and rhythm form of poetic texts in their original (Russian) and translation (English) variants. The author argues that one of the criteria for a «re-creative» translation of poetry is rendering the sound pattern and the inner rhythm, or the musical mode, of the original text. . , . , , , . , , , . , . -- . , -x , . , , , , x . - , , . . . , . , , , , , .

Summary. The report is based on investigation of iterativity as not only semantic, morphological or syntactic, but textual category. The analysis is focused on possible variants of Russian interpretations of ambiguous fragments found in original literary English texts. The different choices of translators appear to be connected with strategies of foregrounding or backgrounding the information in a text, verbalising certain points of view, controlling the reader's competence, etc., and finally taking part in creating special composition of each translation. , , , , , , ( ) . , , , [2: 129 .] [4] , . , / ( .
