27.03.09 : Quality Control Engineer / Tester (Student/Intern)

Обязанности:

Learning and Understanding HP and 3rd party software solutions, including architectures, development practices, frameworks, methodologies, SDK's, additional programming languages and tools as necessary, etc
Interacting with software divisions, consulting groups, end users etc in Russia and world-wide
Development of test plan, unit tests, integration, system and acceptance tests, basing on functional specification and user requirements, architectures, development schedules and project plans
Testing developed software
Testing of HP software bits at customer sites/on telecom switching equipment
Test work volume estimations (scoping)
Interaction with HP Global Delivery Application Services GDRC teams/personnel including development teams, support, implementers, etc
Providing test execution reports
Build testing environment for each development and implementation projects. Documenting it according to industry standards
Performance/stress/load testing use cases development and execution, providing performance investigation and improvement plans
Development of automated test cases using shell scripting and special automation tools
Development and implementation of new testing techniques

Требования:

Must be undergraduate student (1-2 years before graduation = 2010 or 2011 graduate) working towards Specialist or Master degree or PhD student. Major: Computer Information Systems or other related discipline
Understanding of industry standard solutions and tools (testing)
Experience with software development/testing is a plus
Good communication in reading, writing, speaking English
Knowledge of OS: MS Windows as an advanced user; Unix (HP-UX, Linux, SunOS) knowledge is a significant advantage

General Skills and Requirements

· Knowledge of performance tuning of OS, java machine is a plus

· Self driven and motivated, but balanced with teamwork and open communication skills results oriented

· Knowledge of testing techniques, shell scripting language, Junit is a plus

· Knowledge of Java, C++, XML, Unix Shell, network protocols is a plus

· Knowledge/potential to learn: ISO 900x, CMM, CMMi

· Knowledge of SW development cycle & standards is a plus

· Aggressive ability to extract information from internal and external sources to use in successful fulfillment of responsibilities

· Flexibility, initiative, organized, analytical

· Ability to quickly assimilate customer requirements across a broad range of fields

· General knowledge of Telecom switching equipment is a plus

· Knowledge of physical interfaces, cabling, physical link’s analyzing, connection tracing etc is plus
