09.07.09 : Public Relations Intern/Student

• JOB DESCRIPTION:
• This position requires support for Russian and CIS PR functions. Close cooperation with the Technology Solutions Group marketing team, Business Unit specialists both in Russia and CIS.
• Administrative tasks:
• cooperation with financial, legal and procurement departments on documents' closing
• support of press-tours' organization for journalists
• meetings'/telcos' set up and coordination
• PR:
• media accreditation for PR events
• follow -up on media requests between HP specialists and the agency
• update of media theme plans with the agency
• update of weekly PR roadmaps with the agency
• sending press-releases for translation to the translation agency
• Press monitoring, production of reports, follow-up with the agency
• Gathering information for internal communications

• QUALIFICATIONS:
• Student graduating in 2010-2011: mandatory requirement!
• Specialization in communications and marketing is preferred, but is NOT mandatory
• YOU MUST:
• possess a strong interest for gaining experience in external and internal communications
• be capable of building a network with IT and corporate media, focusing on IT, cutting-edge technologies and solutions for b2b sector;
• previous work experience will be a plus
• SKILLS - YOU SHOULD:
• be fluent in English (speaking and writing skills)
• have a good command of PC (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• possess good communication skills
• have an ability to manage stress and meet the deadlines
• be able to fulfill several tasks simultaneously
• be proactive
