Library of Psychological Literature in Foreign Languages
in the name of V. V. Luchkov
The main objective of the Library is providing students, postgraduates, teachers and
researches of psychological faculties and institutions of Russia with prompt access to
teaching and specialized psychological literature in foreign languages. Students may use
the book Fund to prepare literature reviews for their course papers and diplomas, while
professors can find it useful in developing programs for general and specialized lectures
and seminars in any field of psychological knowledge, as well as in compiling
reading-books and teaching aids. The Library resources would also be of great help for
postgraduates and researches conducting their studies.
The staff, students and postgraduates of the Psychological Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow
State University (MSU) are employees of the Library working on a completely voluntary
basis.
Library's consultants on duty are graduates and postgraduates of the Psychological
Faculty of the MSU. They help the students to specify their scientific interests, select
appropriate literature to get ready for the current classes, as well as for writing course
and diploma papers. Moreover, they give the younger students recommendations concerning
the texts for the papers and reports at foreign language classes.
The Library exists owing to voluntary donations of books, magazines,
hardware, stationery, etc. made by Russian and foreign persons and organizations. Any and
all kinds of commercial activity are absolutely absent.
