tnimage

tnimage (Image Measurement and Analysis Lab) is a scientific image viewing and analysis program. Performs image registration, 2D gel analysis, wavelet transformation, 2D-FFT, densitometry of rectangular, circular or arbitrary-shaped areas, morphometry, grain counting, segmentation, image convolution and deconvolution, measurement and calibration. Uses fuzzy logic for extremely accurate densitometry; has peak area calculation, automatic object selection, 3D wireframe and surface plot of images. Builtin spreadsheet for pixel editing. Includes numerous filters, zoom, mask, warp, gradient flood fill, animation, Bezier curves, chromakey, transparency, multiple fonts, subscripts, rotated text, arrows, sprayable math and filtering, and graphically-editable colormaps. Has scanner and camera interface. New features are easily added with plugins. Has user-definable buttons, image algebra and programmable macro language. Supports numerous image formats from 1-32 bits/pixel,including medical grayscale, animated GIFs, and custom format! User-friendly interface based on Motif. Handles 512 images simultaneously in separate windows or in a single large window. Includes tutorials and manual.
