Sim ultaneous translation. The reports, presented by the participants should be sent to the organizers in advance, so that the interpreters m ay becom e acquainted with their content. TECHNICAL M EANS FOR PRESENTATIONS The participants will be able to use a m ultim edia projector and a com puter. The presentations for the m ultim edia projector should be m ade with Power Point and should be saved on a CD Rom . The usage of disquettes is not allowed. SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS: "ECOLOGY. SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES" Description of the issue: 750 MB CD disk in a box; form at ­ DOC and PDF. Content: Every volum e has a cover, it is paginated and has a table of contents in Bulgarian and English. Protection and identification: the issue is protected reliably with a code. It is identified with a digital signature and ISBN. Editing: the issue will be edited by an international editorial ­ scientists, having academ ic rank. The selection of papers will be based on the following criteria · scientific standard; · value to policy-m aking; · originality; · potential to form the basis of a fruitful exchange am ong the sym posium participants. Publication languages: Bulgarian, Russian and English. Copyright and publication right: the authors keep their copyright over the articles, bearing full responsibility for their content. The publisher gains unlim ited right to offer and circulate the issue with the published articles. The publisher does not bear responsibility if the authors have harm ed a third party. The participants in the sym posia, who have publications in the relevant volum e, cannot present articles for publication in the sam e volum e but have right to publish articles in the other volum es of the issue. Sending a registration fee lower than the specified one is considered non-execution of the participation term s. The com ein request for participation is considered invalid, and the paid am ount is not to be refunded. cooperation for a visa, if needed; the visa issue is a state policy and the organizers do not bear the responsibility, if the participants are refused a visa; on visa issue refusal the participation fee are not refunded;

SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES" issue on a CD Rom + CD Rom with the issue; the articles should obligatory be form atted as of the requirem ents; if the articles are not form atted as of the requirem ents, they are not published, and the participation fees are not refunded;

Those people who have not presented their report or poster in the symposium, are not considered participants and do not get materials, notwithstanding the fact that they have paid a right-of-participation fee. The Organization committee does not permit the presentation of someone else's reports without good reasons and without the preliminary agreement of the Committee. If the presentation format is not specified ­ a report or a poster ­ the Organization committee reserves its right to specify the format. TERMS

The space after the end of each part of the article is considered the beginning of a new line of the following part of the article.

till April 30, 2006 ­ expanded theses of the scientific report that is to be presented at the sym posium should be sent /its continuance should not be m ore than 10 m inutes/ so that they m ay be processed by the interpreters; if this term is not observed, the report will not be translated;

PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION Participation in the sym posium : only those people who have observed all participation term s and the guests, invited by the Organization comm ittee will take part in the sym posium . Registration of the participants ­ 5th June from 16 till 18 o'clock; 6th June from 8.30 till 10 o'clock Nam e badges The nam e badges will be given together with the m aterials of the sym posium during the registration are personal. They are the only docum ent, giving free access to the sym posium hall and should always be visible. Access to the sym posium hall m ay be denied to the people who cannot show them . The organizers reserves their right to dem and from the present people to prove their participation right. HOTEL ACCOMM ODATION OFFICIAL HOTEL VIP HOTEL COM PLEX - M inisterial Council - Republic of Bulgaria, Sunny Beach resort Paym ent for a night's lodging in a two-room flat in BGL There is a possibility for accomm odation of three adults. Paym ent for a night's lodging for the whole flat - 70 BGL. Resort fee - 2 BGL per day for a tourist; Additional paym ent for: lunch - 11 BGL; dinner with drinks - 14 BGL; sauna - 5 BGL; fitness - 3 BGL; tennis - 12 BGL. 1URO = 1.94 BGL ACCOMM ODATION RESERVATION The Organization comm ittee reserves accomm odation for the sym posium participants at their request for free. Till April 30, 2006 accomm odation of the participants and the accom panying people should be reserved. The participants' nam es, the arrival date, the departure date, the num ber of night's lodgings, the nam es of the participants the reservation is for, a choice of a place of accomm odation, if there is such chance /a hotel, a single room , a double room , a suit, etc./ should be specified in an em ail. The paym ent is done at place. The hotel accomm odation will be done in order of the com e-in requests. After the specified reservation term the organizers do not bear the responsibility for providing accomm odation to the participants. SOCIAL PROGRAMM E

The social programm e has great im portance to the sym posium success. The unofficial atm osphere during the activities helps widen the contacts range with the rest of the participants. You will be inform ed later on about the content and the schedule. Full description of the proposed activities and the participation term s will be published on this site. Paym ent and invoices receipt for participation in the social activities: the participation requests for the social programm e are to be placed in advance within the term s, specified by the organizers, and the m oney is paid at place. The expenses are form ed as an additional paym ent to the paid right-of-participation fee, as for the purpose the participants will get an invoice with such content. It is necessary that you tell us the requisites of the organization or the firm , the invoice will be issued to. INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF POSTERS The poster session is carried out right after the opening of the sym posium . The place of the poster session will be specified in the programm e. The continuance of the poster session is 1 hours. Every participant has the chance to put his m aterials /that should be within 6 standard pages, A4 form at/ on the poster board. The m aterials should not contain advertisem ents, except for the cases when this is agreed with the organizers. FINAL PROGRAMM E OF THE SYM POSIUM The final programm e of the sym posium will be published on this site on a particular page. You will be inform ed additionally for the purpose. REQUIREMENT S FOR ART ICLE FORMATT ING

It is possible to publish an article off ered f or publication in the name of one author or in the name of one of the co-authors in each v olume. The size of the article, including the sketches, the tables, the diagrams, the bibliography and the abstract should be at least 7 and within 30 pages. The terms f or publications with size ov er 30 pages are to be negotiated with the publisher. The article should be written using the computer programme Word 9.0 for Windows in a DOC f ormat or a compatible v ersion of Word. It should be sent by e-mail, but it is obligatory to be archiv ed as a ZIP or RAR 7

All f ollowing instructions below ref er to report f ormatting using Word 9.0 for Windws, as the menus are to be conf igured as it f ollows: Page Setup: Margins: Top - 2.54 cm; Bottom - 2.54 m; Lef t - 2.54 m; Right - 2.54 m. Paper Size: A4 Format: Font - Times New Roman; Font Style - Regular; Size - 11 Paragraph: Line Spacing All: Single; Alignment: Justif ied; Spacing: Bef ore - 6 pt. The rest options indicate 0. The report pages should not be paginated. The title of the report should be centered and written with T imes New Roman 11 f ont, with Bold capital letters. The names of the authors /f irst f ull, initial of the second and f amily f ull names/ should be written with small letters with the same f ont size underneath, and on new line ­ the names and addresses of the organizations they represent. Scientif ic ranks, titles and addresses should not be mentioned. The title should be written on the next line, in the same way, with capital letters Bold, but in English, and under it with small letters ­ the names of the authors, and on new line ­ the names and addresses of the organizations they represent. An abstract in English within 15 lines should be written two blank lines below and the general requirements f or the text and Italic f ont should be applied. The key words are written on a new line in an italic f ont ­ descriptors according to the basic rules of the text. The presentation text should begin on a blank line below. The new idea should be written at the beginning of the next line. Blank lines are lef t only if necessary. The titles in the text are written with Bold capital letters af ter a blank line, on a new line, lef t aligned. They should be numbered with Arabic numbers. The subtitles are to be written with f irst capital letter and f ollowing small letters with an italic f ont. They are to be numbered consecutiv ely with Arabic numbers 1.1(respectively 1.1.1; 1.1.2 etc.); 1.2; 1.3 etc. The tables, charts and the f igures should be built in the text sof twarely, notwithstanding the programme type they were made. The permissible maximum size of the f igures and the charts is 15 x 15 cm. The size of the tables should not be bigger than A4 sheet of paper, f ormatted according to the specif ied requirements. The orientation of the f igures, charts and tables should be Portrait. Between the text of the article and the tables (respectiv ely the f igures, charts and f ormulae) there should be a space. The text under them should be centered and af ter a space it should be written with f ont size # 11. The numbers and the text within are written with T imes New Roman f ont, size # 10. The f ormulae are created with the WORD editor or are built in as objects if they are created with special programmes. 8
