Based on this study the author concludes that "the latent and open social tensions ... in Russian society today is quite high", "clearly defined trend towards further improving it", and to the deterioration of the social situation in the country and rising social tensions it "could lead to a sharp (abrupt) increase in overt signs of social tensions and the development of its pre-crisis aside, and then the crisis situation".
