Проблема решена заменой железки на D-Link DIR-615

Господа, нужна помощь вот в таком вопросе: есть роутер 3Com 3CRWER-100-75. К нему подключен кабель от провайдера и компы (может быть один комп, на описанное ниже никак не влияет количество и ОС: WinXP/Ubuntu). Дико тормозит интернет в таких ситуациях:

1) На роутере прописано подключение со статическим IP (задан IP-маска-шлюз-DNS-ы), включена поддержка сквозного VPN посредством PPTP и внутренний DHCP сервер.

2) На роутере прописано PPTP подключение с указанием собственного IP (все, как выше), опять-таки включен DHCP.

Симптомы: интернет видит (пинги на ya.ru или еще куда идут, хотя и через раз, см. ниже), но грузит одну страницу по несколько минут и периодически теряет соединение. Как вариант (сейчас полез за логами, переткнул кабели) вообще нет связи. Что за нафиг? Могу показать логи:

Не спец, но сегодня мой товарищ поделился такой же бедой. Но у него радость, он нашел сайт, где все настройки для разных устройств прописаны... Если не решится проблема за выходные, то в понедельник уточню адрес сайта...
