Engineering Physics Institute) Oblique rotators: rotational losses and temporal evolution of the
inclination angle
I will present an exact solution of the problem of the
plasma flow from the surface of the oblique rotator with an initially
split-monopole magnetic field. The connection of this model with
more realistic model of radio pulsars with an initially dipole magnetic
field will be discussed. The expression for the rotational losses
of the oblique rotator ejecting relativistic plasma with the dipole
magnetic field will be given for arbitrary angle of inclination.
The temporal evolution of the inclination angle will be discussed.
