UMMARY

Gazaryan S.V. 2007. New records of the Mediterranean horseshoe bat Rhinolophus euryale from Russia. ­ Plecotus et al. 10: 47­50. Rhinolophus euryale was recorded for the first time from Russia in 1929 (Fig. 1, 1). There were further findings, again from Western Caucasus, in 1939 and 1958. Since that time the species has never been met in the Russian territory. Nearly 50 years later, in 2007, I found the species in the previously known locality (Fig. 1, 2) and in a new one (Fig. 1, 3).
