Vasenkov D.A. 2014. New record of Leisler's bat (Nyctalus leisleri) in the north-east of Moscow region. ­ Plecotus et al. 17: 107­108. An adult female of N. leisleri was caught with mist net in the north-east of Moscow region in July 2010. The bat was captured near the small pond in mixed forest near the town of Chernogolovka (56°053 N, 38°2323 E). Since the middle of the last century Leisler's bat has been know only from the south of Moscow region. However, there are about 40 specimens of this species in collection of Zoological Museum of Moscow State University. All of them were collected in the first half of the 20th century from the western and central parts of Moscow region. To assess the present distribution of N. leisleri in the Moscow region further study is needed. K e y w o r d s : Nyctalus leisleri, distribution, Moscow region
