ABSTRACT. A new species of Megalepthyphantes Wunderlich, 1994 is described from Mersin Province, Turkey. This species seems to be closely related to M. lydiae Wunderlich, 1994 known from Greece. РЕЗЮМЕ. Из провинции Мерзин (Турция) описан новый вид рода Megalepthyphantes Wunderlich, 1994, близкий к M. lydiae Wunderlich, 1994, известному из Греции.

Abbreviations
The following abbreviation are used in the text and figures: NUAM Arachnology Museum of the Niрde University, Niрde, Turkey; Ca carina; Tm I position of the metatarsal trichobothrium. The chaetotaxy is given in the following formula: Ti I: 2-1-1-0. This stands for: tibia I has two dorsal, one pro- and one retro-lateral spine, and no ventral spines (the apical spines are herewith disregarded). The sequence of leg segments in measurement data is as follows: femur + patella + tibia + metatarsus + tarsus. All measurements are in millimetres. Scale line in figures = 0.1 mm, unless if stated otherwise. Megalepthyphantes turkeyensis sp.n. Figs 19.
MATERIAL. Holotype (NUAM), Mersin Province, Mut district, Near Sertavul Pass, 1365 m, Juniperus forest, in litter, 06.XI.2004, leg. Kadir Boрaз Kunt & Ahmet Emre Yaprak.

1.03 wide, greyish-yellow, with the dark median stripe being bifid anteriorly and the darker margin. Chelicerae 0.43 long, stridulatory ridges well-developed. Legs greyish-yellow; with dark rings. Leg I 7.74 long (2.03+0.35+2.00+2.03+1.33), IV 5.56 long (1.70+0.33+0.63+1.85+1.05). Chaetotaxy. Ti IIV: 2-1-1-0, all metatarsi with a dorsal spine. Tm I 0.15. Palp (Figs 19): Patella with a single, special spine only. Tibia dorso-anteriorly with a small, knob-like outgrowth. Cymbium with a keel-shaped tooth in its proximal region. Lamella characteristica long, distally turned downwards. Abdomen damaged, with a dorsal pattern. ETYMOLOGY. The specific name is an adjective referring to the country it was found. TAXONOMIC REMARKS. According to the palp structure, the new species is close to M. lydiae Wunderlich, 1994 described from Greece [Wunderlich, 1994], but is distinguishable from it by the pointed apical region of the lamella characteristica, the narrower embolus which has no long, dorsal tooth in the serrate area, and also by the smaller carina. Because the female of this species is unknown, we are unable to clarify the position of M. turkeyensis sp.n. within the species-groups of Megalepthyphantes. DISTRIBUTION. Only the type locality. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. We are deeply indebted to Mr. Ahmet Emre Yaprak (Ankara, Turkey), who was one of the collector of a new species.

Female. Unknown.

DESCRIPTION. Male. Small-sized species. Total length unknown: abdomen is highly damaged. Carapace 1.25 long,
