Of the many comets named for discoverer Robert McNaught, the one cataloged as C/2009 R1 is gracing dawn skies for northern hemisphere observers this month. What are those streaks across Orion? Most are reflections of sunlight from numerous Earth-orbiting Starlink satellites.
