The meetings are supposed to help people believe in themselves, and then to find the answers to such questions as how to start your own business, where and how to find an investor, what support programs are there. "We want to shape the business community, especially in intellectual and technological fields, attract the young, especially university research workers, provide them with the basic business competences" says Sergei Bogdanov, head of the regional investment center, SSAU graduate and creator of seven startups.
The participants heard the success story of Ivan Isaev, who spoke about his IT-startup. Ivan, in spite of his youth, has already launched a few successful Internet projects. One of his current creations is already valued at RuR 6,000,000. Now his service is basically an online-guide on 32 thousand restaurants in Russia.
The main conclusion of the meeting was that the success of the startup depends on the combination of three factors: passion, personal competence and knowledge of the market.
The next meeting of the technological enterprise club at SSAU will take place on March 19.
