Alexander Kobenko's meetings with students are growing to a tradition. The latest meeting took place on March 5 at Samara State Air and Space University. The topic of the meeting was investment and its impact on scientific and technological progress in Russia. A vivid example of that is the Smart Solutions company. Samara scientists suggested a precise train traffic organization device - the multiagent system. This is not just one piece of software controlling the schedule, but a number of separate subprograms responsible for each separate train. The programs are cooperating with each other on the beehive principle, and the software can resolve various complicated issues very quickly. This technology is being actively introduced into various technological processes around the globe.
At the meeting, the Minister put a special emphasis on that each student, at college or at school, must know from the start what they want from the future and strive to achieve that at all cost. "Now we are trying every possible way to have young people interested in starting up their own intellectual enterprises" he said.
At the end of the meeting Mr. Kobenko answered the students' questions.
